Eating Around Georgia Tech: Pijiu Belly

Pijiu Belly is a new addition on 10th Street near Howell Mill. The decor is strictly Southern small town. The menu is southern with a few twists of Korean and Japanese.

I ordered the rotisserie chicken, which I greatly enjoyed. The crust was superb---crispy but thin. The meat was juicy and tender without losing its texture and toothiness. The BBQ beer sauce was good but I was quite happy eating the chicken straight. One side is dakon (I think) and pickled pepper. The other is roasted brussel sprouts (the Official Vegetable Of The Year) with a cream-based sauce. Both were quite good.
