Palm Harbor FL: The Lucky Dill

Linda and Steve treated me to a great meal and a bit of a nostalgia trip with a visit to The Lucky Dill. Florida has a lot of people from the Northeast, so deli food has to come up to high standards to succeed. Steve and I both used to live up north so we compared notes on deli. The Lucky Dill is large and bustling, making for a great atmosphere. The service was very attentive and friendly.

We started with rolls---the onion bits on top were irresistible.

< Steve and I both ordered the hot pastrami, and Linda ordered the pastrami sliders. We all greatly enjoyed both the tender, juicy meat and the tasty bread (rye in my case).

Steve ordered a drink with his meal so he had the choice of cheesecake or apple strudel. He selected the strudel and took it home for later.
