Conor introduced me to Tatte, a wonderfully indulgent bakery with several locations in the Boston area, including several in Cambridge. The city has changed greatly over the past few decades, with block after block of corporate laboratories and new apartment buildings.

I ordered this pecan tart. The pecans were set in a thin layer of caramel. The crust was rich and buttery with a dense texture.
Conor ordered this sweet roll. That swirl of bread and sugar is mesmerizing, isn't it?
