Time to pull out the smoker. Pork shoulder tastes great and is a good value. I fired up the Pit Barrel Cooker and started the shoulder. I added some chiles and onions for green sauce.
I should have charred the peppers a little more. Some of the skin was stubbornly stuck to the flesh. But I threw everything into the blender and the result was tasty. My sauce included quite a few jalapenos for kick.
The pork shoulder smoked to a beautiful result.
I added some carrot souffle from the freezer for a wonderful dinner. I am grateful.
