This is my second trip to the Cornhusker for a Reuben. I ate at the counter and enjoyed the busy scene; the staff juggled everything masterfully. My sandwich well made and very enjoyable. The Reuben has become a classic because it balances so many elements of the sandwich: meat, bread, cheese, dressing.
The Cornhusker has been identified as a possible birthplace for the Reuben. I've also been to its other homes in Omaha and New York, although a long time apart. Perhaps some day I can put together a tour to eat at all of them close together.
