Grant and Marie invited me to join them for dinner at Jerusalem Bakery. It's in the same mall as Tasty China but on the lower level. The restaurant is connected to the bakery proper. Grant and Marie invited me to join them for dinner at Jerusalem Bakery. It's located in the shopping center that hosts Tasty China but is located on the lower level. They have a bakery chock full of sweet and savory baked goods as well as a restaurant. I tried the cheese pie and baba ganoush. The cheese pie looks like a small pizza but is made on their soft, pillowy bread. The baba ganoush was the hit of my meal. The eggplant mixes with olive oil and other wonderful flavorings to give a much richer, more complex dish that I have been used to. I clearly have to up my standards in this department.
My thoughts on the Atlanta food scene, with occasional forays into the world beyond. We talk about both restaurant reviews and recipes.
