Spudnut at Johnny O's in Logan UT

The spudnut---a donut enriched with potatoe flour for moistness---was invented in Utah. Johnny O's is the keeper of the spudnut flame. My spudnut was delicious and brought back memories of visits to Spudnut for a treat. The staff was great. Thanks, folks!

Aggie Ice Cream at Utah State University in Logan UT

The Dairy Store at Utah State was a highlight of my visit to Logan. This was some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The students who run the shop were friendly and enthusiastic. Thanks, folks!

Paella at Raco de L'Arnau in Seville

After a transatlantic flight, I was ready for a hearty breakfast. Dutch Kitchen at Schipol has long been a favorite of mine. My omelet was hearty and the mini pancakes delicious. At The Airport: Fish and Chips at Lucky Louie's at SEA

Lucky Louie's is in the main food courtyard at Sea-Tac. My Alaskan style fish and chips made the perfect lunch. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The fries were great. The staff was very friendly and delivered my meal straight out of the fryer. Thanks, folks!
