Holborn Dining Room is well inown fir its English food and in particular uts pies. Thry invite guests to visit the pie fhef as he works, a great experience. My chicken pie was delicious and the staff gery gracious. Thanks, folks!

Lunch at Domino's in Patras, Greece

Greeks eat on a very different schedule than mine. A meal at 6 PM may function as lunch. I needed something to eat just after noon and my options were limited. Domino's had what I needed with this very nice salad. The staff was very friendly and the salad hit the spot. Thanks, folks!

Lunch and Tea at the Weston Research Library at Oxford University

I visited Oxford to look at one of their special collections housed in the Weston Research Library. The process involves requesting some documents, then waiting for them to be pulled from the stacks. During one of my waits, I enjoyed a Greek salad at the restaurant in the lobby. I still had some more waiting to do, so I went into the library itself and enjoyed a cup of tea in the library tearoom. Overall, a very civilized process. The staff was great and the experience very enjoyable. Thanks, folks!

Dinner at Micky's Fish and Chips in London

I arrived in London ready for some dinner. As I walked around, I spotted Micky's, which was covered on a BBC show. I went in and ordered some fish with the staff. Seconds later, this wonderful dish landed in front of me. The fish was succulent and tender, the crust wonderfully crusty. The staff was very gracious and efficient. Thanks, folks!

At The Airport: Breakfast at Ergon Deli at ATH

Ergon is a nicely appointed restaurant inside security at Athens Airport. My breakfast was hearty and kept me going for a day of travel. The staff was very welcoming. Thanks, folks!

Beef Chili

Spicy chili makes a great lunch. It's a pretty darn good breakfast, too. I am grateful.

Spatchcocked Chicken on the Grill

I brined my whole chicken overnight, then spatchcocked it and cooked it outside. The result was juicy and flavorful. I am grateful for the chance to both cook and eat such wonderful meals.

Friday Night Is Still Steak Night

Dinner at The Drover in Omaha

I haven't been to The Drover in awhile and was very satisfied with my visit. Their salad bar is crisp and flavorful. I enjoyed the prime rib for the first time, which was perfect. The staff at the bar was very helpful and friendly. Thanks, folks!
