My dinner at El Gaucho in downtown Portland was both elegant and comfortable. The steakhouse provides elegant service that also conveys a sense of informality. My ribeye was perfect as were the sides. The stuffed baked potato was prepared tableside. It was rich but not overwhelming, a testament to what a stuffed baked potato can be.
