Peach Pie

I bought some wonderful peaches at Super Saver to make this pie. Freshly ground nutmeg topped off the delicious taste and texture of the peaches. The crust came out just right. I am grateful for the opportunity to make and serve such wonderful food.

Lunch at Don and Millie's

I've never before visited Don and Millie's and wasn't quite sure what format they provided. They are, in fact, a classic hamburger/hot dog restaurant with great food. My foot long chili dog was tasty and my onion rings outstanding. Thanks, folks!

Hoepfner Biergarten in Karlsruhe Germany

I have eaten at Hoepfner's indoor restaurant several times but this was my first visit to the Biergarten. It was a great place to talk and enjoy the day. My beef paprikash was very satisfying and my apple strudel irresistable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks, folks!

Chicken Pot Pie

I made a batch of chicken stock, then used the stock to make a batch of chicken pie filling. I put a biscuit on top rather than a pie crust. The result was delicious and very satisfying. I am very grateful for the chance to make and eat such wonderful food.

Mapo Tofu

This is my first batch of tofu and I am very happy with the results. Fermented bean paste is the key to its great taste. I added some ground Sichuan peppercorns to spice it up. I am grateful for the chance to cook and eat such wonderful food.

Chocolate Babka

I haven't made chocolate babka in awhile. What a treat! The texture is very different from a brioche-style sticky bun. I am grateful for the opportunity to make and enjoy such wonderful food.

Pasta and Meatballs

Homemade pasta, homemade meatballs. Couldn't be better. I am grateful.

Bread Making Using A Proofing Bin

I've never before used a warming proofing bin to make my bread. I was skeptical but the results seemed to be good. The results were more rising and even rising than whatI get from room temperature rises. The resulting bread was delicious, for which I am grateful.
