Lunch at Blue Sushi

I hadn't visited Blue Sushi in awhile and was happy to see that they are doing well. My sushi plate was satisfying and flavorful. Thanks, folks!

Lunch at Lazlo's

The steak salad has become my go-to lunch at Lazlo's. Thanks, folks!

Vegetarian Lunch at El Potrero

I've visited El Potrero in the Haymarket only occasionally. Now that I know they have a vegetarian lunch, I plan to visit more often. Lunch started with fresh chips and tasty salsa. My vegetarian platter was hearty and flavorful, not to mention filling. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I was able to enjoy myself during my visit. Thank you, I will return!

Update: Lunch From Harmony Vegetarian Restaurant in Chamblee

Sorry for the lack of pictures, I was hungry. I took out my lunch from Harmony but I can report that they are back to in-person dining. Several parties were in the room enjoying the wonderful food. The new cash register counter is in back and nicely protected with shields. Harmony is a treasure of the Atlanta restaurant scene and I am very happy to see their continued success. And thanks for the great sesame chicken!

Lunch at Giordano's in Chicagoland

Giordano's is one of the classic Chicago pizza restaurants but I'm not sure that I have ever tried their pizza. I spent a day driving around greater Chicagoland and threw a dart at the map to decide which Giordano's location to try. My visit was low-key comfortable thanks to the friendly staff. My pizza took quite some time to cook so I consoled myself with this salad. It was a good choice---rich with flavor and texture. My pizza was delicious. The crust was both crusty and flavorful. The sauce reached around and hugged me. The cheese was exquisite. I spent the rest of the afternoon in the afterglow. Thanks, folks!

Breakfast at Lou Mitchell's in Chicago

Lou Mitchell's is a Chicago classic. Located near the start of historic Route 66, it combines old school charm, great food, and welcoming service. This donut hole was a welcome start to breakfast, washed down with plentiful coffee. I didn't come close to finishing my French toast. It sure was good, though. Fresh fruit made the perfect topping. Thanks, folks!

Dinner at Gioia in Chicago

Gioia is a popular spot for dinner and with good reason. Elegant Italian food with gracious service makes for a wonderful evening. Dinner started, of course, started with this delicious bread. Appetizer... My risotto was creamy and full of flavor. A good risotto is a rare find and worth enjoying. The meal was topped off with dessert. Everything was wonderful. Thanks, folks!
