A delicious, savory breakfast. I fried wheat tortillas this time rather than my usual corn. These tortillas puffed up pleasantly, making for great texture. I am grateful for the opportunity to make and eat such a breakfast.

After an afternoon drive through Death Valley, I enjoyed a satisfying dinner at Stovepipe Wells. The Toll Road buffet was tasty and the staff extremely gracious. The photo of my main plate is dark because power went out mid-meal, seemingly throughout Death Valley. My server handled the problem with equanimity and managed to keep everything going.
