Lloyd's Restaurant is old-fashioned Southern hospitality. It has been in business since 1937 and its patrons clearly appreciate its consistency. Service is in the Southern casual mold: "Sit wherever you like, honey!" is the introduction to gracious table service.
My side salad was classic iceberg. I like the crunchiness of iceberg, personally.
This is my 16-oz ribeye steak, cooked on the grill. The steak was very nicely done and extremely satisfying. The onion strings were plentiful and tasty. I didn't have room for dessert.
