I started my visit to Death Valley with dinner at the Oasis, a mansion turned hotel. The staff was superbly welcoming and the food was wonderful. My meal started out with this delicious date bread, a desert treat.
My lamb was succulent and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were very creamy.
And how could I pass up this chocolate cake? Thanks, folks!
