Pie Town is very small and very far away from anything of any size. That is why I enjoyed my visit so much. The town was the subject of a photo essay by Russell Lee of the Farm Security Administration. Some of his photos are displayed on the walls of Pie-o-Neer. Remarkably, given that they were taken in the 1940s, the photos are in color. The proprietor was wonderfully welcoming and my quiche was superb. I'm not sure when I will make it back but I am very glad that I visited. Thanks, folks!
My thoughts on the Atlanta food scene, with occasional forays into the world beyond. We talk about both restaurant reviews and recipes.
